Lake House Remodel

Nestled on the bay side of lake Gaston, our Lake House remodel project beautifully marries the timeless charm of rustic aesthetics with the sleek elegance of modern design. Our central focus for this project was to reconstruct the heart of the home: the kitchen. We’ve transformed what used to be their living room into a culinary masterpiece, a space where cherished memories are born. Replete with natural wood accents and stone countertops, this kitchen captures the rustic essence, while stainless steel appliances and minimalist fixtures infuse it with a modern edge. 

A highlight of the remodel is the addition of a butler’s pantry concealed behind the kitchen, elevating the home’s functionality. It’s a hidden gem, providing ample storage space and a convenient prep area while maintaining the uncluttered and inviting feel of the kitchen. 

Adding both form and function, we’ve expanded the footprint of the lake house by constructing a spacious garage, complete with a master suite above it. This suite is a sanctuary of comfort and indulgence, offering many views of the lake through large windows and sliding doors which lead to the rooms balcony. The master suite includes a large walk-in-closet, for extra storage, an upstairs laundry room that everyone can access, while still being separate from gathering spaces, and a sleek, contemporary ensuite bath.  Together, these elements create a lake house that is not only a place to escape but also a masterpiece of design.
